Bryan has been doing fret work on musical instruments for over 30 years. While working with Dan Erlewine in the early 80’s, Bryan and Dan developed new tools and techniques for the fretting of new instruments and the re-fretting of vintage ones. These tools have now become industry standards for luthiers around the world, and can be found in almost every repair or building facility. With the use of the Fret Jig, a custom fixture that adjusts to the angle the player holds the instrument; Bryan can accurately predict relief in the “playing” of an instrument, making for a better feeling and sounding guitar.
