Our Repair Service has a long history dating back to 1967, when Dan Erlewine founded the shop as The Guitar Hospital. Bryan apprenticed with Dan, and in 1984 became the owner of the business. Building on what he learned from Dan, Bryan’s repair work has expanded to include expert restoration.
Today we are a full service repair and restoration shop, performing museum quality work on priceless fretted instruments as well as everyday repairs for working musicians.

Bryan Galloup has spent countless hours researching and perfecting the finishing techniques used on prized vintage guitars. With state-of-the-art spray facilities to ensure quality and environmental safety, Galloup Guitars reproduces finishes as they were applied at the factory. We also can perform custom aging techniques to give your finish the look of a perfectly-aged classic.
